I’m Jan, the founder of JVL Consulting. I am a results-driven leader with 20+ years of comprehensive professional experience. My career has been defined by a commitment to analytical problem-solving, a keen business intuition, and a focus on pragmatic solutions that deliver tangible value.

My consulting journey began at Bain & Company, where I spent a decade advising clients worldwide. I then became CEO of ASMALLWORLD, transforming it from a loss-making niche social network into a profitable, publicly listed luxury travel group. Along the way, I led M&A deals, digital transformation, IPOs, and built a high-performance team that delivered results.

I am based in Zurich but lived on four different continents over the years (New York, Johannesburg, Singapore). I speak (Swiss) German and English.

My passion? Delivering pragmatic, actionable strategies and building organisations that truly perform. I believe great consulting is about creating impact, not just advice.
